Pink

Today is Pink Day at school, to support breast cancer research. Everyone is wearing pink: baby pink, fuschia, bright pink, Barbie pink, dusty rose pink. I can see hot pink imitation-crocodile shoes, pink woolly scarves, pink vests, and pink printed ties.
My pink contribution is my bright pink shiny shoes, pink lipstick, the pink bracelets that PJ recently gave me for my birthday and two pink brooches (a flower and a butterfly). Everything else (jacket, shirt, skirt and stockings) are in black and neutral, all the better to offset the pinkitude....

Nice to wear a warm happy colour on this freezing yet bright day.
