Strawberry explosion

Get some super red juicy strawberries (Feast on Fruit at Morningside has awesome ones), slice them thickly, and throw into frying pan. Add couple of splashes of balsamic vinegar and a good pinch of cracked black pepper.
I also added a teaspoon of sugar to help them caramelise.

Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes or so, or until the vinegar is bubbling and starting to go sticky. Don't let the strawberries turn to mush.

Let it cool, friends.
I spooned it over some vanilla icecream, and baby, my mind has been expanded. I would have preferred Greek yoghurt or sour cream though, I think. Next time.
