Ladyfingers: the original sin

Don't these look...naughty??

I haven't bought bananas in about a year, what with The Great Banana Shortage of 2006 and the need to insure them before you buy them because you'll probably need to re-mortgage the house to afford them, and plus I don't really like bananas anyway.

However. Who could resist?? So short and plump; so firm, so bright yellow and inviting. And they taste great. Sweet yet tangy; perfectly formed and unblemished. Bit of a sin to eat them, really. And it's probably a sin to gaze upon their suggestive forms. And it's definitely a sin to buy them, these days... but life's too short. Sin away, brothers!
