My Christmas table

I went for a simple tropical-scented all-white theme. Plain white tablecloth (I made it from sheeting at Spotlight) covered with a beautiful cutwork tablecloth that was a gift last year. White cotton napkins with lace detail and plain silver cutlery with white plates. In the centre I put a wide glass bowl (Spotlight, about $25) filled with water. I went down early Christmas morning to the frangipani tree in the yard to collect some perfect floral specimens, which floated nicely in the bowl. Champagne flutes from Wheel and Barrow and white chair covers, borrowed. So peaceful, so pretty. I was very happy with the result.
