Piaf

There was a lovely review of Piaf in this weekend's QWeekend in the Courier Mail. Sounds like the neighbourhood French bistro concept is alive and well. This kind of thing makes me really excited: not just that these places are opening, but that they are so well thought-out and concieved (think of Belle Epoque) and that people are giving positive reviews and wanting to go there. And what a stylish idea: a tiny little 12-seater restaurant with great prices and a one-word name that references the Little Sparrow herself.

We'll have to pop over there ASAP: I can feel a rice-paper roll craving coming on.
