Christmas meal plans

Ambitious. That's what they say. I say over-the-top. Here are the current plans for Christmas eating:

Christmas Day Brunch

Campari, orange juice and champagne cocktails
Melba toasts, smoked salmon, horseradish cream, red onion, capers
Five-tomato salad
Watercress and herb salad
Bangalow ham with Earl Grey and citrus glaze
Fresh cranberry sauce
Rolled free-range turkey with porcini and leek stuffing
Buche de Noel with chestnut puree, dark chocolate, hazelnuts, meringue and edible gold leaf

Christmas Eve Supper (after mass)

Homemade family meat pie
Vegetable soffrito
Vanilla bean icecream with raspberries

Holiday Snacks

Spiced rosemary mixed nuts
Gingerbread
Chili chutney

No doubt this will change, but that's what I'm planning for right now.
