This Japanese restaurant specialises in cow tongue and serves it with rice, cucumber pickles and a broth, also made from tongue. The texture is slightly chewy, but also tender. You'd never know it was tongue. Really delicious.

I think the broth is Ox Tail Soup. It had a chunk of tender meat in it - perhaps I ate that bit before you could try it??
