Morgan's Seafood, Clontarf

I really like how the whiting fillets are stacked up in little delicate ribbons.
"Pain in the arse to get 'em like that," said the staff member.

Mullet roe, scallops with roe, estuary rock cod, Asian whitebait, fresh tiger prawns.

Well, I think with maybe one exception I agree with your take on the Globes (what, you didn't ask?) But what I really LOVE LOVE is Brisbane food stuff. All fabulous! thanks, Keri (a.k.a. Sam)

You don't wanna confuse people. Morgans is at Scarborough, not Clontarf - which is at opposite ends of the Redcliffe peninsula. And I worked there while I was at uni. 95% of the stock displayed comes in frozen... it's always best to ask.

There is a far superior seafood store on the north side, it's on Gympie Road in Lawnton.
Can't remember what it's called but it's a big red building with a giant prawn sign out the front.
