Suckling pig on a spit

We are supposed to having Pig on a Spit night in a few weeks' time. So far, nothing has been organised. I wonder whether we will manage this or not. I've got a feeling that this is the kind of thing that gives you a fleeting moment of pleasure in return for hours of hot, smoky, back-breaking labour. We'll see.
